Located at 175 Tracy St K5, Athens, GA 30601, Sunroof Coffee operates as a coffee shop serving Athens in Georgia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Athens, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across Georgia, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. Loyalty programs are common and worth joining if you are a regular.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 amβ5 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (706) 395-6363. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is instagram.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 137 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded coffee shops in Athens.
Athens is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Athens follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Piper and Kaley/Haley (Iβm so sorry Iβm so terrible with names!!) were absolutely amazing! So kind and welcoming and informative for my first visit! I asked for a modification on my drink and they assured me with ease it was no problem and happily helped make my drink exactly as wanted. Could taste the love!!

I tried Sunroof Coffee for the first time after seeing it around town a few times and was extremely impressed by the quality and balance of the drink I ordered. I ordered an iced honey latte and as someone who doesnβt like too sweet of drinks, I was hesitant to not get it half sweet. I decided to just try the regular amount of sweetness after talking to the barista and Iβm so glad I did! It was balanced and delicious. The latte was also perfectly iced to the best temp and the espresso was obviously of the highest quality. I would go as far to say it might be the best coffee shop Iβve tried in Athens so far! 10 out of 10 ππ»ππ»
